Bob Snodgrass Fumed Collab Marble Chillum

There is a documentary called ‘Degenerate Art: The Art and Culture of Glass Pipes’ that actually covers the history and relevance of Bob Snodgrass and his art, how it was first sold at Grateful Dead shows in the parking lot and helped grow borosilicate glass art. A genuine Snodgrass is as much a piece of history as it is a piece of glass art.

This is a fumed collaboration chillum by Bob Snodgrass with a marble made by Bob and Oliver. The fantastic fuming is by Bob Snodgrass IV. The silver fuming shimmers in the light and has the pink tone of gold fuming around the outside of the piece. The two tones really play well together and the colors become more pronounced depending on the light. The color change with use will be interesting on this. Large bowl for a chillum, with a 5mm hole that can easily take a jack. Around the bowl are several fumed mini marbles that go all the way around and make the piece easy to handle with the dimples. 4 inches long and 2 inches wide at the marble. Amazing glass art from Bob Snodgrass!
