Travis Wigger Large Tophat Bong

Description

Travis Wigger met Bob Snodgrass in 1991 and became an apprentice glass blower under Bob. He worked for years learning Bob’s style and fuming sensibility while becoming a glass artist himself. Travis continues to make glass in the Snodgrass style. He still lives and blows glass in Eugene, OR, working with Bob from time to time.

This is a large Tophat bong by Travis and it’s fantastic! 5mm tubing is nice and beefy and the Deadhead faces look fantastic on the 50mm neck. Travis signed and dated this piece with “TW” and “19”. The amazing Snodgrass style 14mm Tophat bowl is included, and that alone adds a lot of value to the piece. There are three milli marbles on this. One is a Pennywise from ‘It’, another is Animal – the drummer from the Muppets. The third marble is special. Travis discovered come seriously old marbles during a recent move. One of them is on this piece and it’s a Jerome Baker Designs marble from way back in the day – “JBD” is in the milli. That’s a cool detail and a small piece of glass history. Everything about this heady fumed bong is old school and amazing. There is a grommet on the stem, and the stem is an old school chugger with no percs to clog.
