Travis Wigger met Bob Snodgrass in 1991 and became an apprentice glass blower under Bob. He worked for years learning Bob’s style and fuming sensibility while becoming a glass artist himself. Travis continues to make glass in the Snodgrass style featuring Grateful Dead Deadhead faces in much of his work. He still lives and blows glass in Eugene, OR, working with Bob from time to time.
This is a small Tophat bong by Travis and it’s a light, small, easy to handle bong that insanely heady! 4mm tubing is perfect for this size and the Deadhead faces look fantastic on the 40mm neck. Travis signed and dated this piece with “TW” and “19”. The amazing custom 14mm marble bowl is included, and that alone adds a lot of value to the piece. The hand drawn, fumed flourish on the neck looks so heady. There are 3 total marbles on this and all three are on the bowl. One is a black widow spider surrounded by small skulls, we tried to show that in a closeup photo as it’s really cool. The other marble is a Japanese wave milli, and the last is a floating eye. Everything about this heady fumed bong is old school and amazing, especially the bowl. There is a grommet on the stem, and the stem is an old school chugger with no percs to clog.
Fantastic small heady bong from Travis Wigger of Snodgrass Family Glass! This is a perfect size to handle and use easily with one hand. Light, small and so cool. This piece is 9.5 inches tall, 5.5 inches deep with the custom marble bowl in, and 4.5 inches wide. The ultimate in old school heady bongs from Eugene, OR!
